Living on the edge, living dangerously, an unusual lifestyle which could resort into fear, trepid, emotions, despair.
The work is titled Sorrow, fears and blood, it represents an abstract mirage of footprints, blood drops meticulously scattered on the floor as a metaphor to what it means to live in a megacity as Lagos. It sums up Lagos as a host city of this maiden edition riled with uncertainty, resilience, hope, dreams all rolled into one as a survival antidote. Eko o gbagbere (Lagos doesn’t condone nonsense).
